Sour Peaches is a resin-rich hybrid bred by Purple City Genetics from AJ's Sour Diesel × Moroccan Peaches. The cross combines the sharp sour gas and diesel character of AJ's Sour Diesel with the ripe stone fruit and peach sweetness of Moroccan Peaches, creating a bold profile of juicy peach, citrus, spice, and fuel. Purple City Genetics specifically developed the cultivar for strong resin production, making it particularly well suited for hash and solventless extraction.
Cultivated by Coastal Prairie on Humboldt County's Eel River floodplain, Sour Peaches benefits from warm sunny days, cool coastal-influenced nights, and deep alluvial soils deposited by the river. These fertile, well-draining soils support vigorous root development, while the temperature swings encourage gradual maturation and resin production, helping develop the cultivar's ripe fruit, citrus, and gassy character.
Fresh frozen after harvest, the flower is washed with ice and water before being pressed with heat and pressure into 100% solventless live rosin.
