Black Sour Puna is a unique, terpene-rich cultivar with a profile that leans bright, citrusy, fruity, and earthy. The exact genetic lineage is not identified in the available information, but its finished expression stands out for combining vibrant citrus and tropical fruit with peppery spice, subtle florals, and fresh herbal notes. Its unusually balanced cannabinoid profile also sets Black Sour Puna apart from more traditional THC-dominant rosin cultivars.
Cultivated by Mont Verd in Humboldt County, Black Sour Puna benefits from the care and craft of Humboldt-grown cannabis. The region's cool coastal influence, moderate summer temperatures, and long growing tradition provide an ideal setting for developing expressive, resin-rich flower with complex aroma and flavor.
Crafted using only ice, water, heat, and pressure, the fresh frozen flower is transformed into 100% solventless live rosin before being finished in an easy-to-use All-In-One device. This process preserves the plant's naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes, delivering a clean, flavorful expression of the original flower.
Led by β-caryophyllene, limonene, and α-humulene, Black Sour Puna opens with bright lemon and tropical fruit before developing layers of peppery spice, fresh herbs, soft florals, and earthy pine. Linalool and α-pinene add additional floral and fresh green character, creating a complex profile that is both bright and grounded.
Lab tested by SC Labs with results issued on 08/09/2026, Black Sour Puna is CBD rich with 42.63% total CBD, 23.92% total THC, 71.31% total cannabinoids, and 6.57% total terpenes. Its dominant terpenes include β-caryophyllene , limonene, and α-humulene.
