Natty Bumpo is a heritage powerhouse bred by Rebel Grown, descending from the celebrated lineage Double OG Chem #15 × (5G's Yellow × OG Sour) F3—a combination known for its award-winning Emerald Cup pedigree, deep resin production, and unmistakably 'Humboldt' aromatic intensity. The cultivar takes on a uniquely earthy richness shaped by alluvial minerals, cold mountain water, and deep, unfiltered valley sun.
To preserve this cultivar at its absolute peak, the Arcata Fire team harvested the crop using proprietary cryogenic harvest procedures, flash-freezing the live flower instantly to lock in its full aromatic spectrum before any oxidation could begin. This frozen-at-freshness material was then refined into 100% live resin, ensuring a clean, additive-free concentrate with no hydrocarbon remnants.
The flavor profile of Natty Bumpo runs deep and layered. Bold, earthy, and gassy, with an opening hit reminiscent of rich spice, forest floor, and warm herbal wood. As it opens, the lineage contributes a lively lift of citrus zest and pine brightness, while subtle rotten-fruit funk and skunky sweetness—traits often noted by growers and reviewers—add complexity and authenticity to the experience. With 6.43% total aromatic content, the resin is dense, expressive, and persistent on the palate.
The effect mirrors its lineage: creative clarity wrapped in grounded calm, offering an uplift that feels energizing but never frantic, balanced by a warm, steady body presence supported by 70.76% total cannabinoids. This is a cultivar that resonates with old-school Humboldt resinheads—big flavor, deep earth, bright edge, and a finish that lingers like woodsmoke and citrus peel.
